Η PlayOurMusic σταματά τις δραστηριότητες της.

Μετά από τριάμισι χρόνια διαρκούς προσπάθειας στον τομέα της ελληνικής ανεξάρτητης δισκογραφίας, αποφασίσαμε να σταματήσουμε όλες τις δραστηριότητες της PlayOurMusic στις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου.

Το κλείσιμο των δισκοπωλείων στην επαρχία, η απαξίωση των 'μικρών' δισκοπωλείων σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη σε συνδυασμό με το κλείσιμο ανεξάρτητων δισκογραφικών εταιριών ή την μείωση σε ένα μεγάλο ποσοστό των κυκλοφοριών τους λόγω της γενικής οικονομικής κατάστασης που επικρατεί, καθιστούν τον ρόλο της PlayOurMusic αναποτελεσματικό. Βιώνουμε το τέλος μιας εποχής και ευχόμαστε ειλικρινά το καλύτερο για τους εναπομείναντες υποστηρικτές της ελληνικής ανεξάρτητης δισκογραφίας.

Ευχαριστούμε όλους τους συνεργάτες μας καλλιτέχνες και δισκογραφικές εταιρίες για την εμπιστοσύνη που μας έδειξαν. Τα δισκοπωλεία και τις εταιρείες διανομής για την άψογη συνεργασία. Τους εργαζόμενους στα μέσα μαζικής ενημέρωσης που μας υποστήριξαν και πρόβαλλαν τη δουλειά μας από την πρώτη στιγμή.
Μα πάνω απ’ όλα, ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στον κόσμο που μας στήριξε όλο αυτό το διάστημα σε όλο το φάσμα των δραστηριοτήτων μας.

Ας συνεχίσουμε να στηρίζουμε την ανεξάρτητη δημιουργία, είναι μονόδρομος!

PlayOurMusic stops its activities.

After three and a half years of continuous effort in Greek independent music industry, we decided to stop all of PlayOurMusic’s activities on September 30.

The closure of music stores in the province, the depreciation of 'small' music stores in Athens and Thessaloniki in conjunction with the closure of independent record labels, or the reduce of their releases because of the general economic situation, make the role of PlayOurMusic inefficient . We are witnessing the end of an era and sincerely wish the best for the remaining supporters of the Greek independent music.

We would like to thank all our partners, artists and record labels for the confidence they have shown us. The record stores and distributors for their excellent cooperation. Workers in the media who supported us and stood by our work from the first moment.
But above all, a big thanks to the people who supported us throughout this period and across all of our activities.

Let’s keep supporting independent creation, it’s a one way street!
